The 35th Annual General Meeting of MRSI and 6th Indian Materials conclave are organizing by UGC-DAE Consortium for Scientific Research, Indore, India which provides the state-of-the-art facilities to all university researchers in India and in a joint association with Devi Ahilya University, a premier state university of Madhya Pradesh, India.

Indore is the most populous city in Madhya Pradesh. It is also the largest metropolitan city in Central India. It has been ranked as India's cleanest city. Meanwhile, Indore has also been declared as India's first 'water plus' city under the Swachh Survekshan 2023. Indore became the only Indian city to be selected for International Clean Air Catalyst Programme.

Indore is known for popular touristic attractions like Rajwada Palace, Lalbagh Palace, Kanch Mandir (temple of glass), Khajrana Ganesh Temple, etc. Also, there are plenty of water falls

Indore's culinary culture has a blend of Maharashtrian, Malwi, Rajasthani and Gujarati influence. The street food of the city is especially popular. Two of the most noteworthy street food places in Indore are Chappan Dukan and Sarafa Bazaar. The Sarafa Bazaar being India's only night street-food market that attracts large crowds from the city and tourists from various places.

(A) Reaching Conference Venue By Air – From Indore Airport

Indore Airport is just 13 km away from the DAVV campus and is well connected from New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata. From airport one can take Taxi, Olla and Uber.

(B) Reaching Conference Venue By Train – From Indore Junction

Indore junction is well connected with Bhopal, New Delhi, Pune, Jabalpur, Mumbai, and Kolkata. Train booking on https://www.irctc.co.in/

Indore Railway station (Indore Junction, Chhoti Gwaltoli, Indore, Madhya Pradesh 452007) is just 4 km away from the conference venue. From Indore Junction one can take Taxi (4-wheeler) or Auto (3-Wheeler)

(C) Reaching Conference Venue by Road

Travel Guidance from Bhopal to Indore:

(a) From Bhopal Airport:

In case you land at Bhopal airport, take a taxi to Chartered Bus Terminal, (Halalpura, Lalghati, Bhopal) and take bus to Indore (AiCTSL-City Bus Depot, Near Suyash Hospital- Get down at the last stop of the Indore).

A/C Chartered bus is available frequently in every 30 min or 15 mins in some cases.

Take taxi/auto to come to the conference venue.

(b) From Bhopal Railway Station:

In case you get-down at Bhopal Railway Station, take a taxi-4 wheeler/Auto-3 wheeler to Chartered Bus Terminal, (Halalpura, Lalghati, Bhopal) and take bus to Indore (AiCTSL-City Bus Depot, Near Suyash Hospital- Get down at the last stop of the Indore).
