The IUMRS-ICA 2024, together with the 35th AGM of MRSI and the 6th Indian Materials Conclave, will take place in Indore, India, from December 3-6, 2024. We welcome you at Indore – the cleanest city in India for the last 7 consecutive years!

Indore is located on the Malwa plateau, 553 metres above sea level, on the banks of two tiny rivulets, the Saraswati and Khan. They meet in the city centre, where there is a small 18th-century temple dedicated to Sangamnath or Indreshwar. The name Indore is taken from this deity. It is Madhya Pradesh's largest city in central India. It is one of India's cities, having a population of around 3 million people. Indore is Madhya Pradesh's educational and commercial capital. This event is being organized by UGC-DAE Consortium for Scientific Research (UGC-DAE CSR), Indore in association with Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore. Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT), Indore and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore are partner institutes. The conference will take place in DAVV's UCC Auditorium from December 3 to 6, 2024.

A special Pre-Conference Tutorial (for limited participants) on the topic ‘Synchrotron Radiation for Materials Characterization’ followed by a guided visit to Indus-1 and Indus-2 synchrotrons at RRCAT, Indore will be organized on Monday, December 2, 2024.

This conference aims to gather the top researchers, key leaders, students and industry experts. You will get an opportunity to share, discuss and exchange latest scientific knowledge, innovative ideas and UpToDate knowledge in materials research.
